Fuqm Fish Landing Centre Rehabilitation Reaches 90% Completion

On 5 November, officials inspected the rehabilitation of the fish landing centre in Fuqm, Al-Buraiqah District, Aden, where construction had reached approximately 90% completion. The project is valued at US$390,000 and is funded by the World Bank through UNDP under the Sustainable Fisheries Development Project for the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. The project creates opportunities in fisheries infrastructure, cold-chain systems, construction and equipment supply.
