Malaysia Publishes New Hospital Maintenance and Medical Equipment Procurement

On 6 November, Malaysia’s government procurement portal published an awarded RM488,000 contract for critical plumbing-system repairs and maintenance at Hospital Ampang. The Ministry of Health also advertised a tender for one mobile X-ray unit with accessories for the additional building at Hospital Miri; its indicative price was not disclosed, and submissions close on 27 November. These developments create opportunities for medical-equipment suppliers, hospital contractors and maintenance providers.
